Homeschool Curriculum!
Yes I did it! I finally found and decided on our Homeschool curriculum for Ethan this fall, for Kindergarten! I am super excited and really looking forward to this. I got the idea and the guide from this mom Our Family for His Flory and think its great. Our new curriculum is called Heart of Dakota using Little Hearts for His Glory and I will be following her ideas here as I go along. I am really looking forward to this Christ centered learning for our children and cannot wait to start in September. Thank you to all of you that prayed for us as we made this decision. We feel God has really put it in our hearts to school from home. Thank you!

I'm excited for you as well. That's what I used with my Ethan. I even talked to the mother who created it at the TPA Conference that year before I bought it. She's the mother of boys so she knew a lot about how to work with their sometimes short attention span and need for activity. Leah even enjoyed joining in on some of the activities even though she was 3 grades ahead. I only used it for his preschool year but I was very happy with it.
ReplyDeleteJust a couple of more thoughts. Does this mean you've made the decision to homeschool your children? The TPA conference is coming up on June 3-4. I still enjoy going to that after all these years. And if you need an experienced homeschool mom to talk to, I'd love to do that for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat have you used that you were the happiest with?
ReplyDeleteI have officially decided!! :) I'm going to attempt to start Ethan on a Kindergarten program. I wanted to go to the conference, but can't get child care for 2 full days.
ReplyDeleteUm, I know someone who could provide childcare....just sayin'. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for you! I admire people who homeschool - I just don't think that I could do it without the support of a significant other to help with everything else that needs to be done around here. *sigh*
Good luck!!!
