Gluten-free
Even though Ethan doesn't go back to the doctor for a few more weeks to be re-tested for Celiac Disease, we decided to go ahead and look into a Gluten Free diet. His behavior has not imporoved, he is still constantly tired, and he just doesn't seem to be happy as often as he should. From the few family members and friends that know him well, we have together decided it would be in his best interest to try it out on our own. In the event his tests positive this next round, he will have to have a biopsy to confirm. So to us, the best bet would be to go ahead and just see!! We would not want to put Ethan through more testing when we already know theres a strong chance he does have it.
So we could use all the support and prayers you have to make this a successful transition. He eats ok now, but not a large variety. So Im not sure how willing he will be to try new things. Pray I can be strong and patient and know this is best for my little guy. Im nervous and a little hesitant. But its definitely worth a shot!
I read heard from others and read that the results can be almost immediate, so let's pray Ethan has the same results.

Respect Conference and OKC night!
We don't have any pictures of the actual conference. The first 24 hours was really strictly spent focusing on the conference and what God had to tell us. So the pictures are all of our trip after the we left the church.

We had our first Chick Fil A after the conference!! We hadn't had it before, and it was great! So glad we stopped there while we had one near us. So then we get in the car and he attempts to drink MY shake. As usually its.... Honey if you wanted one, you should have gotten one! Haha. Well, I grabbed it back and it dumped all over his lap! Thank goodness we had just left a marriage conference! Cause we were able to laugh it off and stop so he could change.

Me driving my sleepy hubby to OKC.

Mr. Meat & Potatoe eating catfish!! and loving it! We were at Toby Keith's and had some awesome steak! We went here 3 years ago for our first anniversary!

Lovely Bricktown! Can't wait for our Riverwalk to get finished and just hope it looks half this pretty!

Night time!

When we got to OKC we pulled up at our Bricktown Hotel. We were more then disappointed. It was no where near Bricktown. And it wasn't very nice. We check our reservation and it said to cancel by 3 and well...it was 5!! We were stuck. So..we sucked it up and went in to check in to our room.
When we got in there, he said they had damage to the hotel from the storm. What storm??? He says all guests have been moved to the Sheraton. We drove to our new hotel. Its beautiful!! We are right down the block walking distance to Bricktown! We have an 11th floor awesome view. And all for $80! God is good and blessed us beyond what we could have imagined!

Lab Results
Ethan did test positive for Celiac Disease. His IGA test results were elevated. But with his bowel/intestinal issues the past few months, the dr thinks there is a chance that could trigger the positive result. So in 8 weeks we will take him in to check again! Yay, holding down a 2 1/2 year old while they stick a needle in to draw blood..... but its worth it to know he's being taken care of. Let's pray if he does truly have Celiac Disease that Mommy can stay strong and stick to a gluten free diet so Ethan can feel well again. From what I read once the gluten is removed from the diet symtoms almost immediately go away!!!
He did also show a very slight reaction to cat dander...but only mild. So for Now Toby is a safe cat. Since he spends most of his day outside and doesn't sleep in the house, Im not too worry. I just need to be sure to keep up on the dusting and vacuuming. His doctor said not to worry about it too much since it just barely registered. Ethan sure does love his cat.......
