3 Months!!

Kinsey Kay is now 3 months! What a big girl. She is 11lbs 3oz now, still just a little thing! But she's 24" long.. very long! Here are her new pics!

Ready for Xmas!

2 Month Checkup

Kinsey had her two month check up on Friday. She is now 9lbs 12oz... she is only in the 15%. Her head is tiny, 36 1/2 at 8%! She is a little petite thing and longer, at 23 lbs- 45%. She is just a little but beautiful girl. She is smiling so much now and having fun cooing at us. She is a happy and content baby. She sleeps a good 5-6 hours straight at night and takes 2-3 hour naps during the day. She's a good baby! :) We are definitely blessed.

My dad taking Ethan into a scary house- they said he was really scared! Mean Grandpa! Cousin Paige wanted some love from Ethan! He was too busy eating candy.

This was right when we put his costume on he absolutely freaked. Then I took him out on the porch (it was kinda hot inside) and I showed him the other kids in the street and told him they were going to get candy. So he perked right up and walked down the drive way!

So I started off losing weight really slowly. I thought... oh no, its the second child syndrome! I mean, I had a 7lb baby and come home only 5lbs lighter! How does that work?

Well- slowly I kept losing 2lbs at a time every couple days. And now its 2 weeks post partum and I am only 2lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight! YAY me :)

Big steps as Big Brother!!

I had this months ago and he never bothered to even look at it. But his cousin was here last week and she had a doll with her. He carried it around for a bit, so I went and dug his doll out. He immediately carried it around. So I gave him a little bottle of water to feed it.

He carried it around the whole house!!

Then he tried to feed Kinsey the water! She had a very disgusted look on her face!

Mommy was nursing Kins and Ethan came up and ripped her off to give her a kiss. I was so grateful he was giving her attention that I forgave him for how awful I hurt!! It was soo sweet and I was very grateful that Devan was nearby to run in with the camera!

And the best part!!! He loves me again! For a few days I got no attention at all. Then he would gradually show me he knew I existed.... but this was my first hug that he initiated!!! I love my boy!
